Data Experts Inc ("we," "us," or "our") built the 1099 Tax Saver app ("the App") to help freelancers and independent contractors estimate self-employment taxes and find deductions. We are committed to your privacy. This policy explains our data practices clearly and completely.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information from you. The App works on your device. Income figures, deduction answers, and estimates you enter or generate are stored only in the App's local storage on your device (your estimate history) and are never transmitted to us.

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
  • We do not require registration or login to use the App.
  • We do not track your location. A state you enter is used only as part of your estimate.
  • We do not collect usage analytics or track how you use the App.
  • We do not sell, share, or transfer any of your data to third parties.

Tax Data

Deduction rules, mileage rates, and tax brackets are built into the App and applied entirely offline for the tax year you select. No network requests are made to calculate your estimate.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and other usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy & Terms, which you can review at policies.google.com/privacy. This data is used to deliver and measure ads and is governed by Google's policies, not by Data Experts Inc.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not require any personal information to use. Advertisements served by Google AdMob are subject to Google's ad policies.

We may update this privacy policy as the App evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
