Data Experts Inc ("we," "us," or "our") built the US Property Tax Estimator app ("the App") to help homeowners estimate annual property taxes for any state and county in the United States. We are committed to your privacy. This policy explains our data practices clearly and completely.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information from you. The App works on your device. Property values, ZIP codes, and estimates you enter or generate are stored only in the App's local storage on your device (your estimate history) and are never transmitted to us.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
• We do not require registration or login to use the App.
• We do not track your location. A ZIP code you enter is used only to look up the matching state and county for your estimate.
• We do not collect usage analytics or track how you use the App.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer any of your data to third parties.

Live Tax Rate Lookups

When you request an estimate, the App may query a third-party property tax data provider (API Ninjas) to obtain live median property tax rates. These requests contain only the state, county, or ZIP code needed to return the rate data. No personal information or device identifiers are included in these requests.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and other usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy & Terms, which you can review at policies.google.com/privacy. This data is used to deliver and measure ads and is governed by Google's policies, not by Data Experts Inc.

Important Disclaimer

Property Tax Calculator 2026 is not affiliated with any U.S. government agency. All calculations are estimates based on published tax rate tables and live median rate data, and are provided for personal planning purposes only. Always verify your actual property tax amount with your county assessor or tax collector.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not require any personal information to use. Advertisements served by Google AdMob are subject to Google's ad policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the App evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
